Best OS for Pocket PC and what about Palms?

I had Windows Mobile 2002 and I am trying Familiar Linux with Opie and am going to try Familiar with GPE. Any other Operating Systems to try out? Any recommendations? Any sites I should check out?

Also a friend of mine has an old Sony Clie. Any cool Operating Systems for Palms?

So yeah what's out there for PDAs?

Thanks,

However Opie seems to be lacking in programs.... Any PPC users that have used anything besides Windows Mobile?

For me, a PDA isnt supposed to be so complex that I need to worry about changing OS's. Its purpose is to do a handful of tasks very well.

I have 2003 on my Asus 610 and it does everything I need. If not, there are usually a handful of freeware programs available to do the job.

I feel the same about cell phones and cars. Some products should prioritize ease of use over control.

You see I had 2002 and could not get 2003 and well 2002 is not so great. Still playing around and if I don't like Familiar with Opie ill just go back to 2002 and let the thing collect more dust. *shrugs*
