What is the best way for a 266 Mobo

1. Install Mobo.
2. Install Win2k
3. Install VIA, AMD patch[depends if you have the 761], Via USB Filters
4. Install Detonator Drivers [best ones 26.25 or 22.81 etc...]
5. Important here: INSTALL DIRECTx 8.0A [.1 TOO BUGGY FOR NOW AT LEAST - DO YOU INSTALL DIRECT x FIRST BEFORE THE VIDEO DRIVERS OR AFTER THE DRIVERS]
6. Install Audigy/ SB Card drivers.
7. Install NIC drivers.
8. install apps and other stuffs

Please advise on order of installation. Thanks

I justed finished install my Epox 8KHA+ motherboard an the ordered that I followed was:

Install mobo
Install Win2K Server (no need to install NIC drivers as Win2K has native drivers for my 3Com NIC)
Install Via 4-in-1 Drivers
Install VIA or AMD patches & Win2K SP2
Install video card drivers
Install SB Live drivers
Run Windows Update
Install applications

System is running stable at current time and no problems at all.
