Best onboard sound solution...

What's the best onboard sound solution out of the existent ones (and working well under Vista64)?

Realtek ALC882M
Realtek ALC883
Realtek ALC888
HDA
...etc.

Realtek comparison chart, pretty much going from best on the left.
ADI's (tcsenter's link)
can't see one worth looking at for IDC

I've got a realtek ALC888. While I havent installed my games yet, on DVD's it doesn't sound as nice as my Audigy but it's not nearly far away enough that I feel like putting the card into my new build and suffering Creative drivers. I would have upgraded to an X-Fi without even trying the onboard if it wasn't for those drivers. I use Sennheiser HD515 bins, if you've got some uber speakers then maybe the difference would be more pronounced. Working great on Vista 64 HP though.

FWIW, I have the SB Audigy right now, alongside the onboard Realtek ALC889A without too many problems. Creative drivers on the other hand... ugh. I couldn't get them to install correctly because apparently Creative removed them from their site, and Windows Update doesn't give the proper one, so I kept getting BSODs. Luckily, I had the CD in addition to the original Driver download files from my previous PC build so I installed those sequentially and finally got it updated. Driver headaches aside, I did run RMAA (RightMark Audio Analyzer) on both of them and they're about even. Onboard actually wins a little due to it not having the ridiculous intermod problem on the Audigy but it has quite a bit of low frequency noise that the Audigy doesn't have.

I've been thinking about posting the results but I can't imagine too many people would find it useful since the Audigy 1 is so old.
