I thought the first one on PS3 was one of the best, if not the best one ever. I think it was Tools of Destruction. It had some DLC for it called Quest for Booty that was just okay. It was very short but I think it was like $15 or $20 at the time.
A clank in time was pretty good too. I just prefer playing as Ratchet more with all of his gear.
All 4 One was by far the worst of them I thought. it just felt gimmicky and I wasn't a fan of it.
Thanks for the detailed response. I ended up picking up the Ratchet & Clank Collection containing PS3 remasters of Ratchet & Clank, Going Commando, and Up Your Arsenal since those three are supposed to be incredible. That one seemed like a no-brainer. Since I still had $8 burning a hole in my PS Store account I figured I'd grab one more of the games after.
Yeah All 4 One doesn't look that great with the God of War style camera, so I'll pass on that. Full Frontal Assault is a complete no-go since I hate MP. The entire Future series looks awesome though. After reading what you wrote and checking some reviews it felt like a coin-flip between Tools of Future Destruction and a Clank in Time, so I gave the tie to Tools since it's the first game in the series.
Pretty awesome this deal I pulled at Gamestop last weekend. I combined two of their promotions along with the PS Store's Midyear sale to craft what was effectively a trade-in of Nioh, one dollar, and two dollars I had in my PS Store account already to get Persona 5 (PS4 version), the Ratchet & Clank Trilogy, the two inFAMOUS games plus the DLC for inFAMOUS 2, God of War Ascension, and Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction all off the PS Store. I say effectively because part of it was trading in two games I had on physical disc and then buying them in digital form much cheaper off the PS Store.
