best oil weight ?

What are the differences, etc. I have a 200sx se-r and while it was turbo I was recommended 0 weight oil (0w-40). What about with the stock engine?? I just bought a case of 5w-30, but iunno

I think it says 10w-30. I don't really remember, and all my stuff is still packed from moving last week.

If you're not sure, just be safe and get what the manual recommends.

If you live in a VERY cold place then 5W30. Moderate places like most then 10W30.

I use 10W30 year round

I use 5W30 year round. I see no real benefit of 10W30 over 5W30 even in warmer climates. It gets as thick (the 30) when warm.

I use 5w/30 year around regardless of location.

In the manual and on the filler cap usually.
