Best Office Router?

We bought a Netgear WGT624 Wireless router for the office, it sits between a T1 and a Windows 2003 server. We have about 10 computers connected, and the router (latest firmware) drops and reconnects the connection (cable, not wireless) every hour or so. Plus it doesn't actually support VPN.

Needless to say, we are looking for recommendations on a RELIABLE router (doesn't even need to have wireless, but if it does that's a plus). Something that can handle a lot of traffic and has good security, a good control panel, and VPN.

I say the Netgear professional series but it didn't get good reviews.

Any recommendations? Budget is under $300.

Thanks

I have a Sonicwall TZ-170 and it works very well. It has high traffic ratings (VPN: 30mbps, Unencrypted: 100Mbps), it seems to be pretty secure (I ran all of the nmap probes on it with no succesful contact), the control panel is easy to use (although there are a lot of features to work with). The unfortunate thing is that it doesn't provide L2TP VPN unless you fork an addition $500 for the Enhanced version of the OS.

Something that I noticed about VPN that is pretty cool is that by default it stealths the port 500, which you would need to open for Windows VPN Client. A Sonicwall rep told me that this is because the Windows VPN Client sends a packet filled with zeros to determine if an endpoint actually exists. But with the Sonicwall client I can connect successfully with the port stealthed but normal Windows attempts and probes are blocked.

Unfortunately the 10-user version usually runs for about $350-450. But you can take it for a spin at sonicwall.com where they have an online demo.
