Hi,
Currently am setting up a new computer system for my home office and replacing 2 CRT's (GS790). Being new to LCD's I thought I would ask for you opinion.
After some research - taking into account my price - I have 3 top candidates
1) HP LP2065
2) Westinghouse L2410NM
3) Soyo 24DYLM24D6
I would use two of a 24 inch monitors. I would start with two 20 inchers but might add a third. This could make the HP the most expensive option but would allow for portrait mode - two LP2065's in portrait mode are very close to the resolution of a 30 inch monitor.
My use is mostly office - web browsing, email, IM, and word docs with some financial trading software displaying charts (these charts have small movements). I might also try to hook up a cable dvr box to watch a baseball game while in the office on occasion.
I have not played games in some time.
Which monitor would you suggest in this price range (under $400) for my use?
Thanks in advance
