Hey guys, just joined the boards. Im looking for some input here. Planning on doing some upgrading in the near future. Pricewise I want to stay around these two combos, but cant decide which would be better for gaming.
ASUS A7N8X-X w/Athlon XP 3200+
-or-
KV8 PRO w/Athlon 64 2800+
From what I have read, eventhough the 64 has a lower clock speed then the XP, it still performs better then the XP. Is this true? So staying around the $200 mark, whats the best CPU/MB combo? Or if you guys can think of a better combo please post. Looking for a system that will play EQ2 descently. Thanks ahead of time.

They also overclock really well.
