back in the day i remember it was Xerox Textbridge Pro vs Caere Omnipage Pro. now i see there are several free utilities also. this is in an office environment: who is the best these days?

Are looking for "The Best" period or the best for under $XXX amount?

 
Both Textbridge and Omnipage were bought out by Nuance. I believe that Omnipage Pro (now in version 17 with a retail price of $500) is built on the old textbridge engine.
