Best OC/Price Cornroe (E6300) boards

I have Plan to get E6300 and OC it to 3GHz Which is better for me:
1.DFI Infinity 975X 192$
2.Asus P5B Deluxe 249$
3.GigaByte 965P-DQ6 247$
4.GigaByte 965P-DS4 175$
5.GigaByte 965P-DS3 152$
6.GigaByte 965P-S3 129$
7.Abit AB9 Pro 167$
8.Abit AB9 Pro 147$

I would guess the Asus only because of the new BIOS. If Gigabyte has something similar I'd say that would be good too.

Not 100% sure but I think the DS3 will get him to 3GHz. So based on that as his target OC number and the mobo's price it would be the better buy. Now if he wants more features and what have you then the more expensive mobos will only provide that. The P5B is getting higher OC numbers though on the FSB.

The P5B Deluxe, right now has the best chance to get a 6300 to 3Ghz without effort. Other boards take some adjustments from what I've read. Voltages, memory timings etc. Asus is a little more straight forward (read: idiot proof).

My recomendation is you are considering a P5B Deluxe and an E6300,,,,,,,

Save $50 and get a DS3 and an E6400 you will defianetly reach 3ghz and save some $$
