Best Nvidia drivers?

OK, I've installed both Nvidia's current WHQL WinXP driver for my 6600 GT and their newest beta driver, both of which are from November. Both of them make my games look like crap. Changing in-game settings hardly does anything for the quality, except make everything slow down -- most of them don't even seem to work. There are all kinds of rendering glitches and pop-up, and I'm just tired of this crap! I'm not sure what's causing it, but I want to try some of those unofficial drivers. So, what's the best out there?
 
I really like the XG Forceware select, and I think Omega still makes Nvidia drivers. Those worked great when I had an ATI card.
