I've experimented with GF3 TI's and G4 TI's and the 45 series have the best performance.
anything after DOES cause a peformance loss.
About a year ago I worked on a 2800+ AXP with a TI500, using the 70 series Forceware it got around 7000ish in 3dmark2001, however using the 45 series detonators it jumped up to over 9500.
Same goes for a similar rig with a 2600+ and TI4800, it went from 10000ish to 13000ish using the same drivers.
I can't recall any of the figures for gaming benchmarks that I ran but they did show a decent increase in framerate when using the older driver.

That's what I thought. Thanks!
