Best Notebook Processor/Manufacturer Combo Under Load?

I am looking to purchase a laptop with a processor that can keep its number crunching performance up under load for long periods of time...ie, when it gets hot, I want to see the performance hit at a minimum. More specifically, I am a scientist and want run fairly intensive modeling programs in C, Mathematica, etc.

Does anyone have opinions on this? I was considering the Lenovo (IBM) T60/61 series...
