Best non-wireless router

We just got a new Modem from our ISP, but this one does not have a built in router like the last one, so now i need to buy a separate Router (with integrated 4 port switch. Im looking for a reliable one, but not too expensive. how about the LINKSYS BEFSR41 or D-LINK DIR-100?

This is my current network setup:

Cable modem - Router (yet to buy) - 10 Port Switch
_____________________________ - Linksys wirless Router (With DHCP disabled)



The reason im not connecting the Wireless router i have to my cable modem is that the cable modem is in the basement and the wirless will not reach the rest of the house if it's down there.

just buy a cheap wireless router and turn off the wireless, or use to expand the reach of your existing wireless.
