I just watched Evil Dead 2 again last night, a slapstick classic. Here is my list of not terribly scary but fun Halloween movies on DVD:

1. Nightmare Before Christmas
2. Evil Dead 2 & Army of Darkness
3 Re-Animator & Bride of Re-Animator
4. Return of the Living Dead ("braiinss!")
5. Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey ("our album covers totally lied to us")
6. Ed Wood
7. Ghostbusters

Any other good ones?

Edit: another classic but not yet on DVD (region 1) is Cemetery Man (Dellamorte Dellamore).

It's one of my favorite movies, but I guess Beetlejuice is so non-spooky it didn't spring to mind as a Halloween movie. BTW Monkeybone is a bit similar though not as good.

Been wanting to see that one for a long time but can't find it around here.

Dead Alive
Its another slapstick really gory flick. Just make sure you only watch the unrated version because the R version has about 20mins of gore cut out.
