Really, if you aren't OCing at all, you could pretty much just go with the cheapest good name mobo with the features you want.

My vote would go to the AsRock 939Dual-SATA2, since it's uber-cheap & performs very well.

The MSI Neo4-F is my normal recommendation for a budget OCer, but since you aren't OCing...yeah no need 😛

So no real need to upgrade now huh?

I'm not really sure why you'd want to switch mobos now 😕

You already have a good system, just add another GB of RAM, & throw in an X800XT or 6800GT 🙂

I just hope I can find a cheap 6800Ultra early next year in AGP flavor.

If you want to delay the upgrade to PCI-e, the AGP X850XT PEs are still pretty damn good.

The aren't that far behind the 7800GTs in many games.

I'm not sure if you can find one that's worth it though.

I'd likely go with an X800XL, since it's the best value AGP card (in Canada anyway) IMO, & then switch to PCI-e the next time you need to upgrade.
