Best non-SLI board?

What's the best non-SLI motherboard for me to use? I want to use it with one 7800gt. I really like the asus sli primimum board with the heatpipe. Is there a board like that without the SLI?

Well, the DFI LanParty Ultra-D has no SLI but also uses active cooling no passive stuff. There is no option that I see becides the Asus board you mentioned that has a passive system using the heatpipe.

What you could do is just get the SLi board (obviously it would be slightly more expensive) and just not use the SLI feature. This is assuming you must have that heatpipe cooler.

The best non-SLi board I have found is the ABit KN8 Ultra. I replaced the NB H/S fan with a Zalman NB47J passive heatsink. Rock stable.

asus a8n-e,put a zalman heatsink on it like me and after 3 other brands of ultra boards this one is the best.perfect layout, good o/clocks,mature bios, rock solid stability, what more could you ask for?if i had bought this one first id have alot more money in my pocket. 105.00 a8n-e,10.00 zalman =115.00 and a kick ass board.i have a windowed case and i bought the 10x40mm led fan off newegg and cut the taller fins off the zalman and mounted the led fan on top of it.what a difference in temps.was 40-48c.now reads 30-34c.this is 1 fine board.if you want max o/clocks dfi.if you want the best all around ultra board on the market asus a8n-e is it.i get 500-600mhz o/clocks with near stk voltage and the chipset cooler dosent interfear with my x800 gto vid card at all.im telling you ive had abit an8 ultra, gigabyte ultra and msi k8n ultra and all were not as good as this board.just my opinion but from experience.good luck with your choise and at least take a look at the asus board.the a8n premium is a great board also.
