Castlevania 64

I never knew it, but after the initial favorable reviews, this game apparently got panned. My friend and I still loved it though.

I loved turning into the wolf 🙂

I never played it, but my friends all talk about harvest moon for 64 like it was the greatest game of all time.

Anyone who doesn't respect DK64, Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, and Conker's BFD needs to be shot. Rareware was epic back in the day 🙁 I'm hoping Banjo 3 will pull off more awesomeness.

harvest moon reminded me of a game i saw but never played.

it was like transformers, but you went round smashing buildings and stuff, cant remember the name though

might have been a different console, or maybe i just dreamt it..

Super Tennis

Atleast that's whatI think it was called. Even if you don't play tennis or even like watching it, this game is cool. It gets progressivly harder till you play XXX(SPOLIER TAG, see bottom for answer) in the last match. I never did beat him, even though it was doable.

XXX is SaTAn

Blast Corps

Blast Corps: Leaders in the field of...well...demolishing stuff faster
than anyone else! With the help of some "unique" machines that they
built for the army, the team destroys old buildings so new ones can be
placed in...

But, how did they come into being? Years ago, at a military base named
Rafters, the team members worked hard and created the machines they use
today. They would be used by the army for "classified" situations...

But after they were done, the team were thrown aside by the military
like a piece of cheap clothing. They didn't really care, and went on to
future projects...

Wesley, one of the team members, was left disabled after a horrible
accident. When he was rejected by the military base, the team was
infuriated! They went on to lead the famous "Rafter Walkout." Then,
after some twiddling in court, they got full use of their creations at
their own will. Blast Corps was born...

Five years have passed. A carrier with a load of two advanced nuclear
missiles has been left badly damaged after a leak in one of it's fuel
departments...Disabled, the on-board computer automatically sets a
course for the most direct route to a safe detonation site...

In it's way stand hundreds of houses, buildings, train tracks, amongst
other things. The slightest jolt could set of a thermo-nuclear explosion
which could wipe a country the size of the United States off the face of
the Earth! It is leaking heavy loads of radiation, which prevents anyone
from getting close to stop it...

Standing as the Earth's last defense, Blast Corps must clear a path so
the Carrier can get through without a hitch. Ironically, the Carrier's
origin was the Rafter's Military Base. But before a safe detonation can
be prepared, six elite scientists must be gathered to set it up...

My Favorites:
Jet Force Gemini - probably one of the best games I've ever played!
Goldeneye - the only multiplayer game I've ever enjoyed.
Super Mario 64 - self explanatory.
The two Banjo games - two of my all-time favorites as well. Played the first one a hundred times.
Zelda: OoT - Great game, didn't enjoy Majora's Mask quite as much, but it was ok.
Starfox 64 - Just plain fun!
DK64 - Typical Rare game, alot like the Banjo games with the collection and level design.
Conkers BFD - Another typical Rare game with added flair. 😉

Disappointments:
Killer Instinct Gold - LOVED the arcade (and liked the SNES) Killer Instinct. Not this one.
Castlevania 64 - still makes me sad thinking about it.
Turok 3 - The first two were awesome, this one blew it.

In addition to all the classic titles listed above, I also want to mention Rocket: Robot on Wheels, which was a modest platformer whose claim to fame was a superb (by the standards of the day) physics engine. The puzzles I recall largely involved throwing items but taking into account trajectory and landing/impact to position items correctly. RRoW was developed by Sucker Punch, who later went on to fame with the Sly Cooper series.

Why isn't golden eye on VC yet? I bought Ocarina of Time and StarFox 64 on VC.
I want some Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger on VC. 🙁

EDIT: Dragon Quest/Warrior as well.

I'm guessing Square-Enix has an exclusive contract with Sony for these franchises?

Blast Corps was fun as well, I'd love to see that on VC.
