Wait til Evan comes with his roundup, then choose accordingly. They all perform about the same, its the features and the overclockability that seperate the boards from each other. For me, the choice is probably going to be the Abit NF7-S, but we'll see once Evan releases the review.

Yeah and if Evan jumps off the Empire State building then do that too. ;)

Can't believe you missed all the messages! :)

Seriously, I've seen a round-up or two, but nothing from one of my personal bag of trusted hardware sites. The Asus looks promising, but there's the cost. Everyone here loves EPoX. Abit is the old school. Everyone here has their own opinion, or no opinion. There's little objective data. I'd wait.

PUT IT UP ALREADY. I've got hardware to buy and I want to be an informed consumer! :) Thanks Evan.

Heh, too late, already bought the Asus a7n8x. I got too antsy. Thanks, still curious to see. I can always ship back. ;)

I *had* the ASUS but I RMA'ed my first one. See my thread and check it. I had the chance to pick up another A7N8X and I decided to go with the Epox. It isn't as feature rich but I am after stability and my first experience with the ASUS troubled me. Especially since their support boards are LOADED with TONS of posts on the issues described here and NOT ONE SINGLE REPLY to any has been given except by end users. Hell, Corsair is more helpful than ASUS.

Screw ASUS. My money is with Epox, and less of it too.

I think the leadtek and Abit look great. Asus overclocks the FSb by a bit too much and overvolts too. Always has.

Well, about the ASUS problems, my first borad ever was an ASUS with minimal problems. I hope I don't have any problems with this either.

While reading some of the reviews, I noted they were saying Deluxe. I didn't realize there was a Deluxe and standard model. I REALLY hope I got the deluxe, otherwise, I might have to call goolegear to have them fix the order before it goes out. And from waht I can tell, the only thing that's different it no onboard audio, is that right? what other difference have I missed? If it's only onboard audio, I might live. But I like the idea of 2 NICs on the board.

I'm putting my money on the Epox too, works with the Corsair 3200 DDR and would go nice with a Radeon 9500 pro I'm getting. Also can't I just get a good AXP 1600+, unlock it, lower the CPU ratio and bump the FSB to 166? That be cool man.

Nforce2 would support the Barton (tm) version of the AXP right? with (200 fsb)
