Joe Buck is the worst of anyone listed in that poll, except for maybe the NFL Network guys.

I like the ESPN team, mostly because Jaws is actually informed.

I've really been impressed with how tolerable the MNF crew is now. Tirico and Jaws were always decent and I love me some Chucky.

Most play-by-play guys are bearable with Michaels probably being the best. I's the color guys that drive me nuts. I know that's their job but at least try not to act like a dick while you're doing it. On that poll Simms and Collinsworth are horrible. I can tolerate everyone else.

If I could pick my ideal team, I'd have Al Michaels with Aikman and Jaws.

I agree 100%. Aikman and Jaws are excellent analysts. Seems like they actually follow football, not just the star players (or worse, the guys who used to be good, but aren't anymore). As an Eagles fan, I find them both fairly unbiased too. Jaws will pick the birds to lose when it's realistic, and Aikman isn't obviously biased toward the Cowboys either.

It's rare, because the Jerry Jones marketing machine does have most analysts touting the Cowboys as perennial favorites.

You know, I think I might have been a little too quick and I may have shortchanged the ESPN crew based on my past prejudices of having to sit through years of Theismann and Kornheiser. With those assclowns gone, their team is pretty good. I'd say Tirico is probably a close second to Michaels and Jaws is definitely top notch. Gruden is the weak link there but I wouldn't say he is exceptionally annoying or anything.

Have any of the sideline reporters ever added anything to the game other than annoying chatter?

I feel the same way. I love the current MNF crew. I have not a single complaint. I even like Gurden in there for the "excited-meathead-football-fan" angle that he brings (and he tempers and paces it well too I think).

I only chose Aikmen/Buck over MNF as I am admittedly biased towards them as they call the bulk of the games I watch... they are either calling the Packers game, or the week's top NFC matchup. They are just "the voice" for Sunday football for me over the past few years.

Ok, Pam isn't too bad, but Suzy, Andrea, and Tony Sirigusa sound like windbags
