I recently installed IPCop, a firewall built on linux with remote web browser administation, works nicely. (I installed it to be a DHCP server as well as a firewall) However something I'd like a firewall to be able to do is block MAC addresses from having any access at certain times of day, during certain times of the week.
Anyways IPCop doesn't seem to go to far to offer a whole lot more than my cheap and lower power usage DLink DI624 router, maybe it has a bit better firewall that I don't know for sure. Anyways any tools people would suggest for good network firewall? I've got a lot of old computers and NICs laying around to as long as the software is free and good this won't cost me anything.
