Thanks for the helpful info guys! I think I will wait until after Thanksgiving to make my decision.

@ScoobMaster: Which seller did you buy from on eBay? Did you get the white or black one?
Just want to know if the black one attracts too much fingerprints. Btw, $270 sounds like an amazing deal!

The seller's eBay ID was "FILYN316". I ordered a black one (is what my wife wanted). I cannot comment on the fingerprint issue (or anything else for that matter) as we have not received it yet - should be in next week (delay due to the holiday).

So are these's netbooks worth the money and what is the different between a netbook and a notebook.

Netbook = weak single core processor, smaller ram/hdd compared to a regular notebook.

BUT

@ 7-10.2" in screen size it is VERY portable and with 6-cell batteries can last you 5-6 hours.

Hey everybody, I'm kinda new around here, but I thought I'd throw my $.02 in if that's alright. I ordered an Inspiron Mini 9 yesterday, got it for about $380+shipping with a 16GB SSD. Dell had a great Black Friday deal on it, Linux model started at $299, XP at $339. I won't have it for about 2 weeks, but I'll let you know what I think after I get it.
