I'm looking for an online checking account that pays good interest rates. Basically, I'll just use it to deposit my paycheck and pay my bills. I'll then deposit what's left each month to my demandnotes and my investment accounts.

Has anyone tried ebank.com or bankofinternet.com

If not, can you recommend a good netbank that has low fees and good interest rates?

Oh yeah, forgot about ING. So I can open one of those and it will be automatically linked to my CharterOne account (if I transfer funds from there to open it up). Just a couple of questions then:

1) Can I do direct deposit into any ING account? Are the funds immediately available?

2) Can I create links to other accounts to transfer into from the ING account?

3) Do you get routing and account numbers so I can set up automatic payments for some of my bills?

4) Do you get any checks? Don't really need them buy just wondering...

5) Who wants to be my referral? 🙂 PM me.
