FCE ultra is the only one I can remember. Dunno if it supports zip files, I wouldn't let that limit your choice and end up with a crap emulator just because it can unzip zip files itself :p

Nesticle isn't the best any more. I like NESten for nes games and ZSNES for snes. Don't know if nesten supports zips though.

Totally forgot about that one, "Someone I know has it" Works really well with XP, and easy to manage, and configure joysticks with it.

I like RockNESX v2.0. The UI is nice and joystick setup is a piece of cake. I've tried all the other ones and RockNESx is what I use. ;)

i'm PRETTY SURE fce ultra supports zip files. furthormore, it plays games that other emulators won't. it even tells you what the problem is and how it has been fixed in ram to run properly. gotta love an emulator that can figure out what's wrong and fix it :)

i've tried nesticle anda few others... fce ultra it definately the best. i think F11 is fullscreen toggle too. tis quite nice

Absolutely not. (this is not a matter of opinion)

ZSNES is faster because it is programmed in x86 ASM. It also has FAR more accurate emulation, more features, and less dirty-hacks (SNES9x is full of them). My only problem with ZSNES is the lack of a Win32 GUI...although it's custom GUI is suitable because it is used in both the WIn32 and Linux versions. SNES9X has not been updated in a long time, and the interface is still poorly designed.
