Hello all,

I'm looking to do some music mixing, and I'm wondering what the best software is these days. I've used ACID and it was kind of what I wanted, but not everything. Basically I just want to mix some songs together to make cool mixes. So what's everyone using, and what do you reccomend. Thanks!

well...If you got about $50,000 laying around, You can get Pro-Tools and a mac and have a professional studio at your disposal. ;)

Oh yeah, definitely. Actually, I have about 300,000 just sitting here, what do you think I should get ;)

OK, how about a little less expensive?

MixMeister is probably the best out there without getting into the professional grade stuff. Check it out, I think it will probably do exactly what you need and you'll be able to do basic mixes within a few minutes. The more advanced stuff (say a back and forth mix of two songs with a third providing bass line) will take a bit longer, but not much.

It will automate a simple crossfade with beatmatch (that you can edit) if you're in a real hurry.
