Best MP3 player for jogging/workouts?

Entity

I'm looking for a good (I'm guessing memory-based) MP3 player for track workouts and such. Do any of you have recommendations on a good unit? I've seen a ton of stuff out there recently, but don't know what is good, great, bad, etc.

Probably looking in the 256+mb range.

Hmm, dunno what to say. I use my iPod when I jog, with the simple to use interface, it makes getting songs fast and all. May be a tad bulky for those who don't use some sort of straps or pockets.

I've used the iPod to jog & ride bike and all sorts of crap, and it works just great, no problems or skipping...

Entity, I'd recommend a 256 Rio Forge, I think they are ~$120 from Best buy. Plenty of songs for a workout... no moving parts (like an ipod) so no risk with having it bounce around for long periods of time

do you use an arm band for jogging and working out or belt clip?
I have the 4th gen 20gig ipod...

I have a Creative Muvo TX FM 256 MB player for working out/running. I like it a lot since it's basically just a fancy USB memory stick. Just plug it in and drag whatever songs you want onto it. I use my Dell DJ for listening the rest of the time.

i have a iriver ihp-390t. 256mb's, supports various encoded music formats, and comes with the arm band. i dont know about the other ones listed, just stating what i use in case you wanted to research/compare a few choices.
