Can somebody tell me where to get a good one, I don't care how long it takes, I just want one with good quality. Does the EZ CD ctr 4.0 deluxe have a good one? Cause I can borrow that...

Oh I'm making a CD to play in a new Car System... I'd like to take advantage of the JL tens in the back of my 4-Runner.

My list of songs with Bass so far (feel free to add any good bass songs)

1. dr. Dre (forgot about dre)
2. Beastie boys (Brass Monkey)
3. Sublime (caress me down)
4. Prodigy - (Breath)
5. Lunatic Calm - Leave you far behind
6. Eminem (Marshall Mathers) CD is very nice

My friend wrote this, and it works pretty damn good! It's basically freeware, except for the decoder, which just has a nag screen, unless you register it. He just asks for a donation if you feel it is worth some money.

Hell, just go there for the web page... it's pretty awesome.

If you want bass, get 'Pedestal' by Portishead. It doesn't seem to really fit in with the kind of music you listed, but I've seen this song put sets of 12" Rockford Fosgates on their knees and beyond 😉

edit: Or 'Slvg Dvb' by The Orb..17 mins, but the lowest bass I've ever heard, hehe. 😉

Do you mean encoding? If so, musicmatch is the best. I used rightclick MP3 first, but musicmatch is just so much faster.

I like AudioCatalyst....nice and simple. It uses the Xing MP3 encoder like MusicMatch. If you want the highest quality compression, I'd go with Fraunhofer, but it's a lot more expensive.

MusicMatch versions 4.0 and above (they are up to 5.something now) use Fraunhofer codec. By far the BEST-sounding mp3 encoder/decoder, plus you get free lifetime upgrades if you buy it.

They used a speed optimized Fraunhofer encoder.... speed over quality, the real Fraunhofer is too slow to be included with musicmatch. Avg users would hate it.

I use Music Match Jukebox myself and the newer versions have cd burning software that is simple and quick with easy sleeve printing software as well.

As for bass heavy songs any track on the Techmaster P.E.B. Bass Computer cd is great. Back when I was still into car stereos everyone used this cd to show off their subs. Especially track 12) Bassgasm Ultimate Woofer Test.
