Is there one greater than Last of the Mohicans? Honestly, in all these years I really never get tired of listening to the theme.

Michael Mann uses great music in all his movies.

The Imperial March from Star Wars and the Jaws theme spring to mind.

The Graduate.

yea, its a Cult Classic thing

That's such a great song. The cover by Aiden, for the newer movie, is pretty good as well.

For classical soundtracks I can't pinpoint a favorite/best. Right now I'm stuck on Apollo 13 and the closing theme in Glory, both by James Horner

I was going to post Last of the Mohicans but it looks like that is unnecessary. 🙂

Soundtracks:

The Crow
NBK
Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?
The Gift (Perry Ferrel)
Amadeus

Songs:

Everybody's Talkin' by Harry Nilsson in the Midnight Cowboy soundtrack
Ride of the Valkyries by Wagner in the Apocalypse Now! soundtrack
The End by The Doors in the Apocalypse Now! soundtrack
Sunshine of Your Love by Cream in the Goodfellas soundtrack

Requiem for a Dream. One of the few actual soundtracks/scores that I listen to on a regular basis.

Amadeus is the only other one I can think of. I have 3 different versions of the Amadeus soundtrack. Great stuff.
