,I think Pulp Fiction OST is really really good

Forest gump is pretty good too

edit: any genre

My favorite is Top Gun. Can't really beat Kenny Loggins and Cheap Trick headining a movie's OST.

The best movie OST of all time is:

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Nothing else even comes close.

Some of my favorites...

- The Saint (David Bowie, Orbital, Moby, Duran Duran, Chemical Brothers, etc.)
- A Night At The Roxbury (If you like dance/nightclub music)
- The Jackal (Prodigy, Massive Attack, Moby, etc.)
- The Living Daylights (Excellent John Barry score)

And my absolute favorite OST movie score of all time...

- Predator by Alan Silvestri (good luck finding it though)

Platoon, O Brother Where Art Thou, The Rookie, agree with many others posted above, too.

Adding "The Elephant Man."

Off the top of my head:

Any Tarantino movie
Conan The Barbarian (it's a score, not a soundtrack, but yes)
Star Wars, I suppose -- maybe anything John Williams
Singles
O Brother Where Art Thou
High Fidelity
Anything by Ennio Morricone (and thus The Good, The Bad and the Ugly)
LOTR
Hard Day's Night/Help (and if you include Magical Mystery Tour and half of Yellow Submarine)

Edit: ARGH, how could I forget The Graduate? :|
