Best Mouse

My mouse just died so now im using some crappy old mouse that i found, so now i need opinions on everyones favorite mouse.

A lot people like the Microsoft Optical mice. I have a cordless mouse by Logitech and love it. If you can, try the mouse before you buy it, or at least make sure that it is easy to return because I find that the "perfect" mouse really depends on the individual person and his/her preferences.

For gaming, the Logitech Wingman Gaming Mouse rocks. For general Windows/graphical art, etc., MS optical mice rock. Don't get optical mice for gaming, though, they have issues with fast movements.

I have tried the Razor mouse, Intellimouse Explorer, and the Intellimouse Optical.
I prefer the Intellimouse Optical.

the logitech mice are by far the best. I have the first mouse + and the USB wheelmouse. both are superb. my logitech optical should be here by tuesday but it is the same shape so should be just as kick ass

I keep going back to Logitech. In fact, after a recent flirtation with an Intellimouse Optical Explorer (the high-end one) I'm using (and far prefer) Logitech's Cordless Mouseman Wheel.

I play alot of UT and quake3. I picked up an MS optical 'cause alot of sites said it was the shiznit, and because it looked cool.

Well, IMO it sucks for those abovementioned games. I just reinstalled my logitech firstmouse+ and am much happier with the response in games.

For general stuff, browsing, etc... the MS optical was nice. Just not games.

I really like my Intellimouse Explorer. My friends really seem to dig the "brake light" on it. 🙂

I use my optical mouse for gaming and don't seem to suffer the same problems other talk about. I used a Microsoft Intellimouse for the longest time and it was great too.

Just make sure it is a wheel mouse. I get on a computer without one nowadays and am lost. 🙂

I say the Logitech optical. I love logitech components (on my desk is a mouse, keyboard, gamepad, and force-feedback joystick all made by logitech). I currently have the first mouse+, but I'm grabbing that optical ASAP. The feel is much better than the MS mice (my roommate has one of those and I can't stand it).

If you're gaming, go with either an MS optical mouse or a Boomslang. They both have great accuracy, but some people don't like the Boomslang's feel. You'd want to try one out at a store or something before you bought it.
There's a cure for optical mice's slow reflexes as some play, turn up the sensitivity in games! Then you don't have to move so fast, and you can give your arm a break.

GET THE RAZER. everyone says it is hard to get adjusted too....but its not. its not as big as they say it is and its really acurate. when i got it, i played quake3 online (for the second time) and i got in first. ON MY SECOND TRY. It was amazing. this was like 20 minutes after i installed my mouse. i didnt need ne adjustment at all
