I just recently got a Microsoft Intellimouse Optical 3.0 (up from the $20 Optical mouse) and a Everglide Giganta Optical pad (up from an old cloth tattered pad). I loved the mouse from the get go - very very comfortable. At first, I dind't like the pad texture but now I'm in love with it. I'm just wondering what you guys are using for gaming. Also... what sensitivity do you use? I know a lot of people like Func pads and the new Logitech MX mouse but I've never really liked Logitech mice.

I have the Dual Optical Logitech at work which works good on that desk...
at home I use the MX 500 and a Func 1030... it doesn't get any better than that right now.

I've gone thru so many different mouse pads... I've had generic, to cloth, to 3M precise (which was great for a while), to 3M precise w/ wrist guard, to ratpadz (a piece of ... yeah.. waste of money).. now, im on the funcpad and it is wonderful.. mouse cordclip comes in handy too.. i currently use the intellimouse explorer 3.0 also and its great... only problem i have with microsoft mice are the feet.. after a lil use, mouse moves a lot slower.. and then after a while, the cord at the base of the mouse gets messed up somehow and i have to RMA it.. microsoft product support is great tho.. they just send u a brand new mouse.. but when u do buy switch to a new mouse, u will instantly realize the difference in the rubber feet of the mouse.. but yeah, they're both great IMO

I`m still using my old Logitech optical mouseman wheel(blue one) with an Everglide Giganta (original) mouse pad, sensitivity is on max etc,I`m thinking of buying the Logitech MX700 with Everglide Giganta Optical mousepad in the near future.

The Giganta Optical does appear to track perfectly regardless of what speed you're moving your mouse at.

I use an Optical 2.0 and a Fellows mouse pad with the gel wrist rest. It really helps cut down on wrist soreness for me.

I have the Everglide Optica (sic) that tracks just great with my Logitech MX700 optical mouse. Cheap too.
