Well If you have med-big hands you'll love this mouse. My meat hooks (size 14 ring) never really warmed up to any mouse until I found this on at fry's in S.F. this weekend for 39.99USD. As the name implies it's optical like the MS Explorer but It surpasses the MS Explorer by a wide margin.
The ergonomics are the best with a confortable fit in your hand and since the "peak" in further back (in the heal instead of knukle) than the MS Explorer optical it's confortable and feels like an extension of your hand. Also, the buttons have that "just right" amount of resistance-clicking and travel...This mouse in not widely advertised so I thought I should give my feedback bacause it's a really important computer component to me since I'm computer user for about 8 hrs a day and have carple..
One final note is the glowing blue scroll wheel is a strangely sublime experience that is reason enough to own this mouse. Buy this and you will not be disappointed.
