Miss them? They're still around :p It's not like they're gone or anything, just no new ones are made - and I agree that it sucks that Mazda axed them here in the states... I mean, a 3 year run here in the US and that's it? Kinda lame... but still an awesome car, I'd love one :)

Yeah i know... but the ones left are being bought by Fast and the Furious crowds... which jacked up the price... and then everyone came aboard the drifting bandwagon now... which is jacking up the price again... :(

I maybe in the market for one soon and pristine stock ones are rare... and if you find one... its over $25k... for a 10 year old car.

the RX-7 driver was far superior and most aggressive of all.

the Blue Skyline looked bloated around the corners as the RX devoured them with ease notice all the passes were there for the taking and he was agressive enough to take them.

these guys were not the best drivers as that Evo beat a skyline?!? the other Evo did break though LoL Mitsu's Blow.

NSX was the fastest in a straight line surprising...

I miss the RX-7 too.. :(

I know someone selling one for around $18k.. but it's been modified alot. Won't pass CA smog either..

A few months ago when my friend was looking for an S2000, I urged him to take a look at this one RX-7 that was for $21k.. pristine, unraped condition. It sold before he had the chance. :(

The R33 is heavy... in this crowd at least. The R34 was slightly sliding around the corners... i think thats the drivers style... fastest lap was by the S-Zero... in the first version of this... RX-7 posted the fastest lap but did not win... i wanna see an NSX-R vs RX-7 Spirit-R... :D

why are FC's *so* much cheaper than the FD's?

for instance, a fc that came out a year or two before the fd being compared to, with similar mileage etc, sells for around 1/5th of the price...

In the States, most FCs are nonturbo. Its extremely hard to find a Type-II FC in good condition.

That and like boyRacer said, the FnF crowd is now buying up FD RX7s which inflates the price :|

Then again, there weren't that many FDs to begin with and some were autos! Same deal with the MkIV Supras... F&F riceboys with $$ are inflating the prices.

I was hoping that prices on the EVOs would start to drop as the Eclipses have but now it seems that they're going to be holding their value decently well... booo. WRXs on the other hand seem to be dropping in price like bricks. At least the MR2s seem to be holding relatively steady on their prices. I'm still hoping to find a Mercedes 190E 2.5-16 Cosworth or an original M3 somewhere... even Galant VR4s are getting pricey. The VW Corrado VR6 from the 90s is still a bargain strangely... finding a good fast car on the cheap is hard now... :(

I saw a Galant the other day that was badged VR4. Didn't look modified at all so I'm guessing it was legit. I never even knew those existed until I read an article about a guy that but a VR4 engine/tranny into a Hyundai Elantra (90 or 91). Fscker was running 13's with mild mods. Talk about a sleeper!
