Agreed. The DFI boards are great... you could also consider one of the Epox boards, they also offer good overclocking abilities.

A third option would be the Asus A8N32 SLI-Deluxe. Great board, but a little expensive.

to be honest, it probably won't matter much as long as you buy one of the "good" brands - DFI, Asus, Abit, and MSI all have plenty of boards that can OC pretty high. Since the X2 3800+ is generally limited to under 2.6GHz (mine is stuck at 2.47), all you need is a mobo capable of 260-275MHz speeds, which is pretty common. Just pick a board that can do that reliably and that has the features you want. Hitting a 325MHz FSB overclock is great, but it's kind of pointless if your CPU tops out around 650MHz below that.

i have an evga NF4 and it OCs well. i hit 2.4 with no problems (haven't tried to clock it higher as of yet). I was hesitant to buy this board over an asus but it has worked like a DREAM the moment I booted my comp for the first time.

I can hit 2.7 with my Asus A8N-E but like they said, about any decent board will do......just get quality components all the way around and you'll be fine........

DFI Lanparty Ultra-D is a great pick-awesome OCing abilities, plus it can be modded into SLi with just a little bit of conductive paint.

EPoX 9NPA+ Ultra is another good pick, OC's just as well as the DFI according to AT, but lacks some of the features and costs less
