Hello,

I was wondering what you guys think about a good motherboard for a new system, which will be mainly used for video editing, video capturing and such. I still don't know whether to go with an AXP 2000+ or a P4 2a.

What do you guys think? Either a KT266A/AXP setup, or an i850/P4 Northwood setup.

Thanks for any tips/info/links...

If you want to use programs with multi-processor support like Adobe Premiere I would rather go for a SMP board with 2 1800+ XP's or such, overall costs could be the same, but you would get considerably more power.

I don't think I will go with SMP. After all, there aren't that many motherboards that support dual proccessors, and the overall cost would be high.
