Im going to be building a rig for my cousin in the next week or two with an $800 budget (doesnt include a monitor). Ive decided to get her a P4 2.4GHz ($194 with 533MHz FSB) since its seems to be the sweet spot in the price vs. performance category. I also ordered the GF3 Ti-500 at Compusa for ~ $93 shipped and I will probably get Samsung IC Chipset 512MB DDR333 PC2700 Memory for $123 at googlegear. I was wondering what motherboard I should get with this kind of a budget

Check this site in the P4 Section Google gear

Plenty of P4 boards around $100 here. I buy from this site all the time. Never had 1 problem. Service and selection is really good.

$100-$110 range covers quite a bit. Even some 845G boards fall into this range (before shipping and tax). For instance, the AOpen AX4G-Pro with integrated NIC and 6 channel sound.
