I was thinking about getting an Abit NF7, but not sure. Obviously with this processor, i will want the mobo that overclocks the best. I know nothing is for sure, but what is the "best" motherboard for overclocking?

NF7 is fine, other choices could be Shuyttle An35N ULTRA. and the Biostar one. I think however, NF7 has the most settings

I agree here. I'm going to the NF7-S this week replacing my A7N8X Deluxe ver 1.04 board. Putting a M-Barton 2400+ with it

If you're gonna be keeping this for a while... why not look into a board with the slightly newer Nforce2 "Gb" chipsets, if prices aren't that much higher.

Abit NF7-S Rev 2.0 and the DFI NF2 boards are both stable when not overclocking. The Abit NF7-S is faster than the DFI boards at the same settings.

They don't hit the insane FSB speeds that the DFI boards can hit.

Very bad BIOS code, an inferior SATA chipset, warped ZIF sockets.
Not a problem. Your best bet is to go with the Abit. I recently (in May) tried 2 DFI NFII Infinity Ultra boards in a row, both of them had to be RMA'd, one refused to POST, one had a non-functioning onboard LAN. I'm back on a new NF7-S, I love it.
