I know this topic has probably been beaten to death already, but I'd feel better with other poeples' inputs.

I have a crapy FIC SD11 ver 1.8 with an Athlon 750. I would really like to replace my sd11 with the ASUS K7V KX133 Slot-A ATX. Is it the most stable mobo out there for a slot a althon 750? How many IDE devices does it support? 4? Does it support UDMA/66? I know my sd11 was terrible with UDMA. The review here said it supported up to 150 Mhz bus speed. What bus speed should it be set to? Are there any other mobos out there that you'd recommend over this and why?

Thanks

The K7V is pretty good, my friend has one and he's happy, altho i do believe there are better ones out there, me not being an Abit fan i might even consider gettin a KA7
they're lookin pretty good!
EpoX has a good one too, the 7KXA is not too bad at all.
so many manufacturers have released Slot A boards now.. even Soyo has one.. i don't know about it tho...
but all i can say is i would replace the SD11 too if i had one :)
good luck!

i have a A7V, and its alright. But if you plan to overclock your cpu, I would go with the Abit board as it has the settings in the bios, and you don't have to mess with any jumpers. Hope that helped!
