Actually just to warn everyone. The Corsair HX750/850 are great power supplies, but their idle noise is actually quite high (FOR SILENCE ADDICTS). For normal people I bet they'll consider it very quiet. It's somewhat close to 30dba at idle, but unlikely to change noise signature until very high loads. That could be too high a noise floor for some people.

Yes, This is the one I bought... I got it today together with Corsair... I'll be returning Corsair this week, but I won't be able to install SeaSonic until next week.

I'm definitely glad to be in these forums. Always seeing useful info being shared. Looking at this chart, I definitely would not have been happy with Corsair's PSU fan noise.

Hi Yellowbeard, I was going by something mentioned by MikeC about the HX750 a while ago regarding noise levels. Anyways I'm hoping Corsair does come up with some more silent and lower end models for us because I love the electrical characteristics of the HX750/850.
