Best / Most memorable theatrical score in a movie?

Absolutely. Brilliant acted and directed. Not to mention the epic piece at the end when the 54th are pinned near the foot of the fort and after a few of our heroes go down they muster and charge. I'll admit, nearly brought me to tears when I first saw that.
Think you might be remembering a different movie. The "charge" theme was sung by kids but it was from the Harlem Boys Choir (all black

err, i was supposed to quote goonies, mustve misclicked.
That theme is forever burned into my brain from the shock of the movie itself.
It was quite effective though.
Wow i was a huge john williams fan and didnt even know it. I looked up some of the movies he has done and the list is incredible.

The lord of the rings score was quite good, but i cant listen to it outside of the movie.

The whole thing is great, the first track is used in a lot of trailers, it's too bad they cut out the part where the three are climbing the Tower of Set.

Hans is actually like a 6th cousin of mine.
Never met him though, there was a huge zimmer family reunion but he had to work or something to that effect.
Hes like the famous guy in the family haha.
