I am looking for a new monitor for an upcoming new rig that will become my "main" computer.
-I am trying to keep in in the $300 range
-Widescreen
-At least 20"
I currently have a custom built rig that I built in December and for the monitor, I'm using a Sony Trinitron 24'' Flatscreen, Widescreen GDM-FW900.
Now, this is a MONSTER of a monitor, both in size and in what it does. I mean, I'm THRILLED with this thing. The only downside is the sheer size of it. Not to mention that it's 100 lbs :wow:
Now, I know that there are advantages and disadvantages of CRT's and LCD's both. But, let's say that size/weight are not issues... Is there any reason to get anything other than another GDM-FW900??? I mean, for $300, is there anything even comparable out there?
If so, PLEASE enlighten me.
