Out of all those choices, which would be the best moniter for under $350. (obviously thise only applys to the moniters that are 350 and under)

I will be gaming sometimes, BF2 here and there...but I will be using this moniter especially for general internet browsing and video editing.

Should I got for something cheaper?

Do I need an LCD?
At outpost.com, if you could also list some of the good CRT's that would be great.

For the CRT's price does not matter.

For LCD and gaming I would go with the Hyundai L90D 19" LCD 8ms

I have that one and have not been disappointed on any aspect! Plus it can be had for $305 at newegg.com (that was last weeks price at least).

this monitor has been nothing but pure gold for me. yeah, the stand maybe a little shakey if you kick the desk, but all is made up for the performance. quality is barely comparable to my 2005fpw in exception to size. ghosting is nothing to worry about for games like bf2.

edit: if you want around $200, you most likely have to switch to 17" or find a nice 19" with a big rebate.

Well you asked for under $350 and I provided you with a good one at $300! You want to be in the $200 range stick with a CRT and any lower priced LCD will most liekly give poor performance in gaming! I can say this - stay away from MAG and Acer for sure!
I think for a 19" LCD at $300 you can't beat it! And it was below your budget you mentioned!

if you dont mind a CRT you can get this 22 inch behemonth for 269 and that includes shipping. I got mine a month ago and it looks brand spankin new. Plus with this CRT you can go to 2056*1536 resolution at a very good refresh rate, and your not stuck to a native resolution like you are with an LCD. But then again you need some room on your desk to stick this.

Get a samsung 17" LCD. Cost around 220. If you're willing to shell up 292, go with the guy above.

Agreed
The Hyundia for $8 more was rated better...

If your not doing gaming a lot, you could go with just a basic LCD. Or even a better and bigger CRT - 21" that would be well within your budget. I had a 21" and went to a 19" LCD which I love so much better - overall quality and the room and heat that it saves ;-)
