the distance between cincinnati and columbus is about 100 miles (roughly 2 hrs). we're (me, my dad and sister) are going to an airport in columbus to get go on a round trip to california. we're going to be gone for almost a week so each of us would carry about 1 big luggage. and since it's a round trip, we're gonna need someone to drive us back home (from columbus to cincinnati). with all of this in mind, what's the best way to get to columbus (e.g. cheapest and most convienant)? greyhound? taxi? shuttle buses? any other options?

Drive your own car, or take a shuttle bus. Taxis will cost you a small fortune, and with Greyhound you still need to get to the greyhound bus station in Columbus and then from the station in Cincinnati to the airport. Odds are driving will still be the cheapest. When my Wife and I flew out to get married in June we drove to the airport. Taxi's would have been $50, Parking was $40 in the long term economy lot.

it's going to be on a weekday and we decided not rely on another to give up work to drive there and back home both ways (8 hrs total). and as for driving there OURSELVES we'd rather not leave our car in the airport for a week.

Drive yourselves and keep the car in the airport lot so it's there when you get back.
