Yes you can flash the bios without a modchip, but their won't be an on'off switch if you want to go on xbox live. You don't need a new harddive unless you want to store games/movies directly on the hard drive.

Yes, that refers to the TSOP. I'll need a chip once halo2 comes out so I can play on XBL, but for now the TSOP works fine for snes Emulation![]()
