That's a store in Montreal that I've linked to in some of my threads in the past. I just want your opinion on what the best mobo they carry is? You can navigate their site really easily, so don't worry about it. Just go on to the mobo section and check them out.

I'm just curious as to what you people would say about it, I don't know much about these mobos.

bump

I've heard many good things about Soyo and Soltek but this store (indeed practically all stores in Quebec) don't seem to carry them 🙁

Abit KR7A-RAID
Asus A7V266-E
Asus A7N266-E
Asus A7M266-D (dual processor)
Epox EP-8KHA+
Gigabyte GA-7DXR
MicroStar K7N420 PRO
MicroStar K7T266Pro2-RU
Shuttle AK31 V3.1 (too bad those hobos don't have the AK35)

These are only socket A mainboards.

Well they sell some Abit, Asus, Intel, Shuttle, Tyan, Epox, FIC and Gigabyte boards all of which are rather well known I'd say. They also sell some from smaller ones like Chaintech and "Discover" which I don't know if I'd trust. And there's always the cheaper ECS solutions, but you obviously don't want that.

I`ll be the first guy here to vote for Epox 8KHA+,reason being very easy to setup(only one jumper on the board) and rock solid stability.

🙂

<< I've heard bad things about Epox's BIOS or something. Have these issues been resolved? >>

Hmmm not sure what you mean, their site is up but the FTP site is down at the USA site,as for their bios it has not given me any problems and flashing is easy enough to do with their boards ,like any other flash there`s a very small risk involved.

Chaintech is actually a good-sized company who makes decent boards, but I can't recommend them because I don't know enough about their current product.
