Im looking for a board to pair with this new chip. I do not need SLI nor onboard videao, just have a preference for a stable board with lots of other inputes and a bit of overclock capability.
Hey I am running an ASUS M2N32-sli deluxe.. for the record there is a version that is called a M2N-sli deluxe.. the only difference is the 570vs 590 chipset.. i am currently overclocking my 6400+x2 to 3.5 Ghz stable.. it is running great.. so hope that helps
it's less than $100 and supports Hybrid SLI which will allow you to power off your discrete graphics card and use the onboard video when your not playing games. (if you do)
It has Firewire, USB 2.0, SATA and eSATA ports which is about all you need.
Plus it is AM2+ which will run the new Phenom CPU's at full speed (Hypertransport 3.0) if you ever want to upgrade it to quad core in the future.
The motherboard above only supports AM2 which is only Hypertransport 2.0 capable.
