Thinkning about building a new box for home, but want to go cheap end. What would you all reccomend? is it worth it to get DDR with a duron or should I stick with SDRAM?

I don't think the DDR is going to result in enough improvement to justify buying it if you already have SDRAM you can use. I run a 1ghzDuron with 256mbSDRAM on my K7S5A O/C to 1.1ghz 110 CPU/146.6SDRAM, default voltage and it runs great. As to the talk about 100/100 outperforming 100/133, all I can say is @ my current settings it beats the crap out of 100/100 benchies when I bench both of them changing only the FSB.

That depends, if you already got sdram get the asus a7v133 or iwill kk266. If you dont get DDR since there isnt much of a price difference. You could get the Gigabyte GA-7VTXE for pretty cheap. I've been using it with a 1.2 duron and its very stable.

You might try an nForce board, if you need the lan+video+audio - $140 or so for the MSI nForce board - and you probably wouldn't even fill any of the PCI slots ;)

The ECS 735 board is probably a cheap option and accepts either SDRAM or DDR and it has LAN, plus its like $70 or less...
