I really hate my current system right now. It gives me crap performance in battlefield 2 and cannot overclock at all. Even with my new XFX 7900 GTX 690/1750 i got yesterday gets raped in bf2 and im pretty sure it is my cpu, memory, and memory that is causing it.

So what is the best overclocking mobo and ram to get? I know that DFI is the best but i heard that there is compatability issues with my psu. I really need a mobo that does high HTT and ram that is garaunteed to oc nicely

If you're using the system in your sig right now, it is not your cpu and memory. BF2 runs fine on my friends system with a 3400+ S754 system with 1.5gb of valueram and a 6800NU

I get good fps in CS:S, score 10400 in 3dmark05. Its just that in bf2, framerate drops to 25 in some parts of a crowded map. That is totally unacceptable. Im not expecting 100fps all the time but dropping below 40 is just outrageous.

I really think it is my value mobo and value ram and my 2.4ghz cpu that is the culprit. They are obviously holding my 7900 GTX back

It seems my roomates computer lags and he's got a 3800X2, 2gbs of G.Skill DDR500, and a 7800GTX. His BF2 lags in a crowded map, swapping out your mobo and ram will not help.
