best mini pci wireless network card?

so i got an intel b/g mini pci card, and its been alright, but in my new place, i don't get any reception and i barely get anything at my house. so really its only good when there are no walls in the way.

need some advice on what the best (bang for buck) mini pci wireless card is.

Is this a mini pci-e wireless .. I hate those things.. I have read that you can take the screen bezel off and install an antenna 😉

I have kept my 9300 because the new Dells have the pci-e which is too weak for me
 
i don't think its pci-e. its totaly a budget laptop just for web browsing, word processing, and the occasional movie. dell b120.
 
Did you check and make sure the antenna are making a good connection to the card? Most miniPCI cards don't have large transmit power differences between them.
