Best 'mid-range' circular polarizers?

Any suggestions? If it matters, these will be used on a Canon system - I own both an XT and an XTi, and my two primary lenses are the 17-85IS and 70-300 (or is it 75-300? which ever is the newer of the two...) IS.

I've got a pair of these series of CPL filters, and love them. No reason to spend more on an SHMC model. This one will fit your 17-85. Your telephoto lens has a 58mm filter thread, so you'll either have to get a step-up ring for it or buy two filters.

HVstar is a Hong Kong based seller, but I've ordered several products from them and have nothing but good to say about them. By far the cheapest prices around, and it'll get to you in about a week.
